Gaston County Jail
At Gaston County jail we have had the oppurtunity to write, visit, and talk via phone to inmates. We have also distributed Life Recovery Bibles and Chasty's book, Septic: Being Cleansed from the Inside Out into the jail. Her book has not only reached the inmates but we also gifted some of the officers and assistant chief with a copy, and former Sherriff Alan Cloniger. In addition, we have made several linkages to rehabs/treatment and/or housing. Our focus is to build godly relationships with people and establish one-on-one connections for inmates.
Lincoln County Jail
While we are not as active in Lincoln County jail as we are Gaston, we have ministered here before. We had one of our folks we knew from our street outreach become an inmate in this county. Her name is Mandy and she is pictured to the left. Mandy was baptized in this jail!
